Things To DoIn March, During Your Term of Office WHEN YOU COMPLETE EACH ITEM - CHECK IT OFF. 1. Contact each club president. Pay semiannual dues by April 1. 2. Conduct Official Division Election Conference. See Standard Form for District Bylaws, Article X, for requirements. This may be an agenda item or regular division council meeting. Send verification of election results to district office by April 30. 3. Reports. Submit Lieutenant Governor’s Report of Official Club Visits by March 15. Pay semiannual dues by April 1. 4. Kiwanis International Convention. Make plans, and submit completed registration. Encourage lieutenant governor-designate and lieutenant governor-elect to register for International convention. 5. Support membership campaigns. Participate in the kick-off events of any clubs starting membership campaigns. 6. Kiwanis International Foundation. Annual Club Gift Campaign ends. Club secretary has forms. 2. Membership development. Review club roster at board meeting. Attempt to call or personally visit nonattending, nonparticipating members. Re-involve them in the club. Committee on Human and Spiritual Values begin preparing an activity for Prayer Week in May. 3. Awards. Review Kiwanis International award programs (p. 153), district, division, and club award programs. Determine if your club is on target. Look for additional opportunities. 4. Nominating committee. See Standard Form for Club Bylaws, Articles XI and XII. Prepare for Annual Club Meeting/Election of Officers (p. 109). 5. Kiwanis International Foundation. Annual Club Gift Campaign ends. All club donations must be postmarked by March 31. 6. Conventions. Submit proposed International Constitution and/ or Bylaws amendments to the Executive Services Department by April 1. 7. Things To DoIn March, During Your Term of Office WHEN YOU COMPLETE EACH ITEM - CHECK IT OFF. 1. Due dates. Pay semiannual dues to Kiwanis International and district by April 1. (Submit with March Official Monthly Report.) 2. Awards. Review Kiwanis International award programs (p 153) and district, division, and club award programs. Is your club on target? Look for additional opportunities. 3. Nominating committee. Review Articles XI and XII of club bylaws. The president must appoint a nominating committee at least five weeks prior to the Annual Club Meeting. President must conduct the Annual Club Meeting between April 1 and second week in May (p. 109). 4. Conventions. By April 1, submit to the Service Program Department proposed resolutions and submit proposed International Constitution and Bylaws amendments to the Executive Services Department. These will be considered for presentation to the House Delegates during the International convention. Select two club members as delegates and two as alternate delegates to International convention. 5. Membership. Report any additions or changes by March 10. 6. Kiwanis International Foundation. Annual Club Gift Campaign ends. All club donations must be postmarked by March 31. 7. Human and Spiritual Values Ask the chairman to start preparing an activity for Prayer Week in May.
