Kiwanis International Annual Report of Club elections
Location: All Clubs
Kiwanis International sends to each a Club Election report form to be completed and mailed back by the Club Secretary. Forms should be received by the Clubs in Mid-April.

Things To Do
In June, Prior to Your Term of Office
WHEN YOU COMPLETE EACH ITEM - CHECK IT OFF.
1. Review monthly reports for current year.
Note trends for each club in the division (both positive and negative) on Preliminary Evaluation of Clubs sheet
(p. 71).
2. Contact each club president-designate in the division.
Verify that current club secretary has received and passed on the president’s section of the Club Officer Packet to
president-designate. If not, urge secretary to contact Kiwanis International immediately, extension 139.
Encourage the club president-designate to begin immediate use of the Leadership Guide.
Promote club and community analyses.
Encourage completion of each item on the monthly “Things to Do” list for June.
Ask each president-designate for a verbal assessment of club’s current strength and major challenges for
upcoming year. Record comments on Preliminary Evaluation of Clubs sheet (p. 71). Ask each president-designate
to develop a plan to address any major challenges he or she identifies.
3. Conventions.
Finalize plans to attend district and International conventions.

WHEN YOU COMPLETE EACH ITEM - CHECK IT OFF.
1. Review Leadership Guide.
Review contents of this Guide and note material for later distribution to incoming club secretary, committee
chairmen, and special appointees.
2. Organize for your year.
Place this Guide in an easily accessible location. Tabbed sections might include: club roster, club goals, budget
data, club bylaws, board minutes, club bulletins, committees, monthly reports, division information, district
information.
3. Seek advice from current officers.
Seek their advice for next year and assist them in making the current year highly successful.
4. Select committee chairmen.
Select committee chairmen and special appointees (pp. 58-66).
5. Information and materials.
Order forms are provided in the president’s material from the Club Officer Packet. Mail all orders to Kiwanis
International.
Review the Club Support Materials order form with current club secretary and incoming committee chairmen. Mark
your request(s) and return on the self-mailing order form.
Review the Kiwanis International Foundation Material Order Form.
6. Conventions.
Plan to attend the Kiwanis International convention. As president-designate, you should be one of your club’s
delegates to the International convention.
Plan to attend both International and district conventions to prepare for effective club leadership.
7. Worldwide Service Project.
Review the current status of the club’s participation in the Worldwide Service Project.
8. Sponsored Organizations and Programs.
Schedule a summer planning meeting with Kiwanis club leadership, Kiwanis club advisor(s) to Sponsored clubs,
and Sponsored club officers.
